AAC pays tributes to Molvi Mushtaq on his 13th anniversary

Srinagar, June 09, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Awami Action Committee paid rich tributes to its leader, Molvi Mushtaq Ahmed, the martyr of masjid, on the 13th anniversary. The AAC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Quran recitation programme for all the Kashmiri martyrs was held at Mirwaiz Manzil in Srinagar.

He said that special prayers were held for Molvi Mushtaq and all the martyrs of Kashmir struggle in the historic Jamia Masjid which was participated by all the leaders and workers of the party. The AAC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, led the prayers and highlighted Molvi Mushtaq’s unforgettable contribution on social, religious and political fronts.

On the occasion, people pledged to take the mission of martyrs to its logical conclusion by remaining steadfast and committed. Molvi Mushtaq Ahmad was shot dead by unknown gunmen while he was leaving a mosque in Srinagar in 2004.
