KARACHI:Administrator Karachi, Sindh governments Spokesman Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Sunday visited Ziauddin Hospital Clifton and inquired about health of city wardens Mirza Kamran Baig and Masroor Alam who were hit and injured by a speedy vehicle.

The Administrator Karachi rushed to the hospital as soon as he received the report of injuries and met the city wardens and their families. Director General Parks Junaidullah Khan, Director City Warden Raja Rustam and Senior Director Media Management Ali Hassan Sajid also accompanied him.

According to the details, a mobile belonging to the City Warden was parked at Urban Forest Clifton in which the two City Warden were sitting when suddenly a speeding car bearing number BGA161 hit the mobile.

Mirza Kamran Baig suffered a back injury while Masroor Alam suffered a head injury and faint on his way to the hospital. He was immediately rushed to the hospital by Director City Warden Raja Rustam. Barrister Murtaza Wahab visited the hospital and inquired about their health and assured that they would be provided best medical treatment.

He directed the management of the hospital to provide best medical facilities to the city wardens. “The City Wardens were injured in the line of duty and it shows their sense of duty,” he said. He also met their family members and said that they would do whatever they could to help him in the treatment. Local police have shifted the car Boat Basin police station and further action is being taken in this regard.
