KARACHI: Lahore and Karachi, two major cities in Pakistan, are facing significant air pollution challenges. People are badly affected by this issue as authorities are unablte to control it despite having resources.
According to a PPI report on Thursday, factors like industrial emissions, vehicular pollution, and crop burning contribute to poor air quality.
Both cities have experienced high levels of particulate matter, posing health risks to residents. There is a dire need to address this issue by ensuring regulatory measures, launching public awareness campaigns, and initiatives.
