The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, visited the frontline posts in Barnala. During the visit, he expressed solidarity with the Pakistan Army and paid tribute to them for giving a fitting response to India.

During the Prime Minister’s visit, a large number of people chanted slogans of “Long live Pakistan,” “Long live Pakistan Army,” and “Long live the Prime Minister.” He appreciated the services of the officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Army and commended their high morale.

The PM praised the Pak Army for making the defense of the country’s borders invincible and for compelling India through “Operation Bunyan-e-Marsous.” He lauded the leadership of the Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, and highlighted the international recognition of the Air Force’s capabilities.

While appreciating the Pak Army’s performance in giving a strong response to Indian aggression along the Line of Control (LoC) and protecting civilian populations, the Prime Minister assured immediate payment of relief funds to the families of martyrs and the injured.

The PM offered condolences to the family of Junaid Iqbal, who was martyred by Indian firing, and his mother Shamim Bibi. Brigadier Umar and other government ministers accompanied the Prime Minister on this occasion. The Prime Minister also expressed condolences to the families of Syed Haroon and Syed Arzoo, who were martyred in Upper Bani, Barnala, and presented them with relief checks.
