A shipment of 40 tons of relief goods sent by Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan for the war-torn people of Gaza has arrived in Amman, the capital of Jordan. This relief consignment includes 20 tons of medicines, 5 tons of hygiene kits, and 15 tons of tents.

Dr Hafeez Ur Rehman, the President of Alkhidmat Foundation, stated that the relief goods were dispatched with the cooperation of the Government of Pakistan and the National Disaster Management Authority. During the month of Ramadan, Alkhidmat Foundation had decided to send 900 tons of relief goods via air cargo, but due to the closure of border routes by Egypt and Jordan, the goods could not reach Gaza during Ramadan.

Dr. Hafeez Ur Rehman mentioned that the continuous efforts of the Government of Pakistan, Alkhidmat Foundation, and the Royal Medical Services of Jordan made the delivery of the relief goods possible. Preparations for the dispatch of 900 tons of relief goods from Alkhidmat Foundation’s warehouses in Lahore and Karachi are complete, and in the coming days, these goods will be sent to Gaza in phases via 6 to 7 aircraft.

Previously, with the support of the Government of Pakistan, the National Disaster Management Authority, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, and the Royal Medical Services, Alkhidmat Foundation had delivered 3,800 tons of relief goods worth 6 billion Pakistani Rupees to Gaza through 19 aircraft and 4 ships via Egypt and Jordan.
