QUETTA:Hammad Khan Kakar, head of Adhoc Committee constituted for conducting election of Balochistan Archery Association, has said that all arrangements for convening the general council meeting of BAA has been finalized, adding that date, time and venue of the meeting of the mentioned body would soon be finalized for electing new office bearers of Balochistan Archery Association (BAA) for a term of four years.
These views were expressed by him while talking to a delegation of Balochistan Archery Association, district Quetta who called on him at “Moulana Niaz Muhammad Durrani Educational and Sports Complex, Pushtun Dara, Quetta” under the leadership of Asrar Khan Noorzai, former Associate Secretary, BAA, district Quetta. Kakar added that the election of BAA would be conducted in the light of provisions of the constitution of BAA prescribed for conducting election.
Appreciating the role played by the erstwhile cabinet of BAA headed by Mir Danish Marri as President and Abdul Rehman Noorzai as General Secretary for promotion of sports in the province, he hoped that new cabinet of BAA, to be elected by the general council of BAA, would also play a similar active role for promotion of sports, particularly Archery game in Balochistan.
