Inspector General Frontier Corps, North Balochistan, Major General Athar Abbas, on Thursday reaffirmed the commitment of the Frontier Corps to ensuring law and order in Chaman and safeguarding the Pak-Afghan border.
Speaking at a tribal jirga in Chaman, Major General Abbas stated that all available resources were being utilized to address security challenges and enhance border management in the region. The jirga served as a platform to discuss border security, local stability, and other pressing issues faced by the area.
The tribal elders praised the Frontier Corps for its proactive efforts in maintaining peace and order in Chaman. They also acknowledged the Corps’ contributions to providing essential social services, which have significantly benefited the local population.
Major General Abbas emphasized the importance of collaboration between the authorities and local communities to ensure sustained peace and stability in the border region. The Frontier Corps’ role in enhancing border security and fostering community trust was highlighted as a critical step toward achieving these goals.
