Ambassador Matsuda Condoles death of Dr. NAKAMURA Tetsu

Islamabad, December 05, 2019 (PPI-OT): Ambassador Matsuda expresses grief over the death of Japanese Dr. NAKAMURA Tetsu, killed in Afghanistan in a gun attack. H.E. Mr. MATSUDA Kuninori, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Japanese Dr. NAKAMURA Tetsu, M.D., Representative in Afghanistan, Peace Japan Medical Services (PMS), who was killed in a horrific gun attack in eastern Afghanistan on December 4, 2019. Ambassador Matsuda condemned the shooting of Dr. Nakamura, who had started his humanitarian medical service in Peshawar in the 1980’s, dedicated his entire life to serve the humanity, and worked for people’s welfare, peace and stability in the region.

“I am deeply saddened to learn about the tragic death of Dr. Nakamura, who was a real practitioner of humanitarian assistance, and express my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences with his family and colleagues”, said Ambassador Matsuda in his condolence message.
