Ambassador of Jordan calls on Chairman Senate

Islamabad, January 03, 2019 (PPI-OT): The Ambassador of Jordan Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Ibrahim Yali Moh’d, called on the Chairman Senate at Parliament House while talking to Jordanian Ambassador Chairman Senate said that Parliaments of the Muslim countries must come forward and interact to evolve a mechanism for making concrete efforts to resolve the issues being faced by the Muslim Ummah. The brotherly relations among the Muslim states need to be translated into economic opportunities.

Sanjrani reiterated need to further strengthen existing bilateral relations between Pakistan and Jordan through enhancing parliamentary ties and cooperation in various areas of mutual interest. Chairman Senate observed that Pakistan and Jordan traditional and historical linkages with one another and mutually share time tested bond of friendship. Chairman Senate also underscored the need for enhanced parliamentary linkages between Parliaments of two sides. He said that bilateral relations could be further cemented by increasing parliamentary exchanges.
