PESHAWAR:On the direction of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman, two more universities of the province, Abbottabad University of Science and Technology and University of Science and Technology Bannu, held separate meetings of the Senate at Governor House, Peshawar on Friday to discuss the financial year 2021.
After reviewing the budget priorities and technical aspects of the budget for the financial year 2021-22 prepared by the said universities in a separate session of the Senate, the two universities were presented for the approval of the budget for the financial year 2021-22 approved.
It may be recalled that Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman had directed all the universities to prepare their budget for the financial year 2021-22 and submit it to the Senate for approval in June as no budget of any university would be approved after the expenditure.
Principal Secretary to Governor Muhammad Idrees, Secretary Higher Education Muhammad Daud Khan, Additional Secretary Finance Safeer Ahmed, Vice Chancellor Abbottabad University of Science and Technology Prof Dr Tahir Irfan, Vice Chancellor University of Science Apart from Dr Khairul Zaman, Professor, Endowment Technology, Bannu and other concerned senate members also participated.
