Another doctor dies of COVID-19

KARACHI:Ex-Program Manager of Sindh AIDS Control Program (SACP) Dr Arshad Mahmood died of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Karachi on Monday.

He passed away at a private hospital due to respiratory complications caused by COVID-19. His funeral prayer will be held on Tuesday after Namaz-e Zohar at Ghazali Masjid, Block 13-D, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. The burial ceremony will be held at Sakhi Hasan graveyard.

So far, 184 healthcare professional have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Pakistan out of which 157 were doctors and 27 other medical staffers.

In Sindh, 56 healthcare workers have died due to the coronavirus so far out of which 50 were doctors and six were other medical staffers.
