Karachi:On directives of Supreme Court, an operation against encroachment was conducted in different parts of district South on Sunday.
Senior Director Anti Encroachment DMC South Syed Qazim Hussain supervised the operation and removed illegal encroachments from Kharadar, Machi Miani Market, Bolton Market and adjacent areas.
The DMC South also seized cabins, chairs, tables, gas cylinders and other equipments that were lying on roads and footpaths.
Senior Director Anti Encroachment DMC South Syed Qazim Hussain headed the operation while other staff also took part. It may be noted here that Anti-Encroachment drive was being conducted on directives of the apex court.
