Islamabad, January 08, 2018 (PPI-OT):On the directions of Member Estate and many complaints by the general public, Directorate of Enforcement of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has conducted operation against the encroachments in Sector I-12. These encroachments have been established on the state land, which caused problems for the public and also badly affecting the beauty of the city. Following the instructions, Enforcement Directorate of CDA took prompt action without any discrimination and removed these encroachments.
In line with the directions of Member Estate, Enforcement Directorate has conducted a massive operation in Sector I-12 and demolished several illegally constructed structures including three rooms in Village Bokra area. During this operation, state land has been retrieved. Similarly, during the operation against illegal structure and encroachments, a retaining wall from 13th Avenue of Sector I-12 and shed constructed for cattle have also been demolished. Besides, Enforcement Directorate, the operation was also participated by the concerned formations of Environment Wing.
In the meanwhile, some buildings and commercial plazas sealed by the CDA were again sealed by the concerned formations of CDA in Sector E-11 in violation of the prior approval from CDA. These buildings and plazas were opened by the owners illegally and without any permission. The operation was conducted by Enforcement Directorate and Building Control Section in the supervision of Senior Special Magistrate of CDA. Legal action is being processed against those who opened sealed buildings and plazas in Sector E-11. The sealed buildings were constructed in Sector E-11 without prior approval of CDA.
