QUETTA:Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, while expressing satisfaction over the rescue and relief activities in rainfall and snowfall affected areas of the province, has said that the active role of Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), concerned district administration and National Highway Authority (NHA) was praise worthy.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Saturday, directing the concerned authorities to keep extending maximum help and assistance to the affected people, he hoped that any eventuality in the snowfall and rainfall affected areas of Balochistan would be dealt with effectively.
Urging the need for removing snow from the national highways of the province, he directed the concerned authorities to ensure clearing highways for traffic. Expressing sorrow over the losses caused by recent rainfall in coastal areas of the province, Bizenjo directed the district administration of Gwadar and Lasbella to immediately start relief activities in the affected areas.
