ISLAMABAD:A prayer session was held by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter in Islamabad, today, with its Convener Mahmood Ahmad Saghar in chair.

The participants of the meeting expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Kashmiri leader Ghulam Qadir Hagro, who breathed his last in the Aluchi Bagh area of Srinagar yesterday.

They also paid tribute to the deceased for his selfless services, adding that Ghulam Qadir Hagroo will be remembered for his selfless services and outstanding role in the history of Kashmir for a long time.

The Hurriyat leaders expressed their sympathy with the bereaved family members and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the aggrieved family to bear the irreparable loss.

Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman, Altaf Ahmad Butt in a statement in Islamabad also expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family of Ghulam Qadir Hagro.
