Islamabad, April 30, 2019 (PPI-OT): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir APHC-AJK) chapter has urged the international community to take notice of Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir. The APHC-AJK at a meeting in Islamabad, today, strongly denounced the harassment of Kashmiri resistance leaders by India’s infamous National Investigation Agency (NIA). The meeting was presided over by convener, Syed Abudllah Gilani. The participants of the meeting said that India was using different tactics to harass Kashmiri people.
The APHC-AJK also denounced the illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders including Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Massarat Aalam Butt, Aasiya Andrabi, Fehmeeda Sofi, Dr Hameed Fayaz, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Ayaz Akbar, Pir Saifullah, Merajuddin Kalwal, Maulana Mushtaq Veeri, Sarjan Barkati, Syed Shahid Yousuf and other leaders and activists. The participants termed the holding of sham Indian parliamentary elections in occupied Kashmir as illegal, immoral and in violation of the UN resolutions.
Those who participated in the meeting included Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, Abdul Majeed Mir, Muhammad Husain Khateeb, Nisar Mirza, Abdul Majeed Malik, Adeel Mushtaq Wani, Ishtiaq Hameed, Shamim Shawl, Abdul Hameed Lone, Raja Khadim Hussain, Advocate Pervez Ahmad, Haji Sultan Butt, Javed Iqbal Butt and Imtiaz Wani.
