Srinagar, August 19, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has condemned the police action and use of cane-charge and teargas shells against the student fraternity at the SSM College of Engineering, Parihaspora Pattan in Baramulla.
The APHC in a statement in Srinagar denounced the use of muscle power by the police to destroy the peaceful atmosphere in the educational institutions. The police authorities are meddling in the affairs of the said college on the behest of their mentors without any legal or moral justification, it added.
It expressed grave concern to create a fearful atmosphere and scene of insecurity among the student community and demanded a high-level judicial probe into the grave matter to bring the culprits to justice.
