APHC delegation sympathises with martyrs’ families

Srinagar, May 19, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference visited Pulwama and Shopian districts to express sympathies with the families whose sons and relatives were martyred by the Indian troops during the cordon and search operations.

The delegation comprising Ghulam Nabi Sumhji, Bilal Ahmad Sidqui, Molvi Bashir Irfani, Ghazi Manzoor and Zahid Gulzar visited Tehab, Karimabad and Panzgam areas of South Kashmir and paid rich tributes to the martyrs. They said India is reluctant to resolve Kashmir dispute by accepting right to self-determination as a most peaceful and democratic formula.

They condemned the cordon and search operations conducted by Indian forces during the night hours in the holy month of Ramadan and expressed grave concern over the unabated human rights violations.

The Hurriyat leaders demanded immediate cognizance taken by the UN and help settle Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Muzahamat Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui in a statement issued in Srinagar, paying tributes to Pulwama, Shopian and Sopore martyrs, said that their sacrifices would not be allowed go waste. He said the people of Kashmir would continue their struggle till taking it to its logical conclusion.

Hurriyat leader, Javaid Ahmad Mir in a statement in Srinagar condemned Indian troops’ excesses on innocent people of Kashmir. He said that Indian forces are killing Kashmiri youth on daily basis in the garb of so-called cordon and search operations. He said these great sacrifices would definitely bring positive results and one day the people of Kashmir would get rid of Indian bondages.
