Karachi, July 05, 2019 (PPI-OT): Arts Council of Pakistan’s Medical and social welfare committee is organizing a seminar on increasing suicide rate among youngsters due to depression on Sunday 7th July 2019 at 6:00 pm. Prominent speakers of seminar will be famous writer Noorul huda Shah, Dr. Mohsin Naqvi, Advocate Nasir Rizwan Khan, Dr. Afshan Channa and Dr. Mehmood Rehman.
Mental Diseases are excessively increasingly in Pakistan every passing day and depression is the most increasing disease which takes towards suicide. Mostly youth is effected by this. At the end seminar a panel discussion is also organized where famous Writers, Educationist, Professors and Psychologists will discuss several mental diseases including depression. According to reports 514 young boys and 523 girls committed suicide in 2017. And in 2018 the numbers were 523 boys and 377 girls.
