Two-day Asia Pacific Judicial Colloquium on Climate Justice ended in Lahore with an effective resolution and road map.
During the conference, national and international participants including Judges, lawyers and experts discussed the impact of Environmental Justice and Climate Change.
They agreed that Green Benches Judges were shouldering important responsibilities and they would have to see Climate Changes minutely.
The participants said clean environment is one of the basic rights of every citizen and courts are bound to ensure its provision while deciding environmental cases on priority basis.
