KARACHI:Assistant Commissioner Hub Lt (Retd) Muhammad Ahmed Zaheer said implementation of Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs) prescribed by the government for combating COVID-19 pandemic must be ensured.
He urged shopkeepers to maintain social distancing and wear masks. Anyone found defying SOPs, strict action in accordance with law in vogue would be taken against them.
These views were expressed by him while presiding over a meeting held here on Monday in connection with novel coronavirus. Meeting was attended by representatives of Anjuman-e-Tajiran, Chemist Association, Transport Union, Lasbella Chamber of Commerce, Civil Society and representatives of different social organizations.
Meeting attendees agreed to create awareness with regard to the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to combat the spread of coronavirus.
