Attachment of Aasiya Andrabi’s house in IOK condemned

Srinagar, July 11, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders have condemned the attachment of residence of illegally detained Dukhtaraan-e-Millat Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi saying the move is the latest example of India’s Kashmir policy, which is in force since 1947 to continue its illegal control over Kashmir.

The Chairman of Tehreek-e-Muzahamat, Bilal Ahmed Siddiqui, in a statement issued in Srinagar said unabated killings, mass arrests, intimidation and other colonial measures have been employed by India to kill the people’s freedom sentiment but Kashmiris have continued their genuine struggle against all odds.

He said India should shun its policy of rigidity and stubbornness and work towards fulfillment of promises made by its leadership with people of Kashmir. The spokesman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi in a statement denounced the action of the Indian government and described it as injustice to the jailed woman Hurriyat leader.

The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement, Muhammad Shafi Lone in a statement also denounced the authorities for attaching the house of Aasiya Andrabi and described it as frustration of the authorities.
