QUETTA: Salman Ashraf, President, Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ), has strongly condemned attack on the central offices of Jang and Geo.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, he said that attack on Jang and Geo was an attack on freedom of media and journalism. Ashraf called on authorities to take action against perpetrators of the crime.
The central office of the Geo and Jang Media Group was attacked by a protesting mob on Sunday in Karachi. The staff inside the building were also attacked and violently pushed around, according to a report.
