KARACHI:Anti Vehicle Lifting Cell of the Sindh police (AVLC) on Friday Saturday claimed to have apprehended eight motorcycle lifters from the city. According to AVLC officials, receiving information about the lifters a police team conducted a raid in different areas and detained eight motorcycle lifters. The police have recovered four motorcycles from their possession which were stolen from Methadar, Aram Bagh, Defense, and Nabi Bux Police Stations of the city. AVLC police said the arrested criminals were involved in several acts of vehicle lifting from the different parts of the city. They were identified as Ramzan Ali, Parvez, Waseem, Niaz, Shan, Kamran, Ibrahim and Wajid. Police said they were shifted to AVLC police station for further investigation. The AVLC officials said that the accused used to sell stolen motorcycles in separate parts.
