Azad Jammu Kashmir Prime Minister urges world to put pressure on India to stop HR violations in IOK

Muzaffarabad, July 27, 2020 (PPI-OT): The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu Kashmir, Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider has urged the international community to put pressure on India to immediately stop the flagrant human rights violations and killings of Kashmiri people in occupied Kashmir.

In a media interview in Muzaffarabad, he said that unresolved Kashmir dispute was a potential threat for peace in South Asia.

He said that the Kashmir issue had become in the sharp focus of the world attention due to unprecedented sacrifices offered by the Kashmiri people for freedom.

He said that occupied Kashmir was under complete military siege and eight hundred thousand Indian troops have been engaged to crush the indigenous struggle of the Kashmiri people.
