BADIN: After the instructions of SSP Badin Shabir Ahmed Sethar, police launched a crackdown on drug dealers on Wednesday, recovering liquor.
SHO Kario Ghanwar along with Sub inspector Asghar Ali and staff raided a local distillery near Kario Ghanwas town and recovered 1010 liters of local liquor. During the operation, an accused identified as Ghulam Sarwar Chandio was arrested and a case was registered against him.
CIA police in Badin acting on a tip-off arrested a gutka dealer, identified as Sajjad Ali. Around 3000 gutkas were recovered from the possession of the accused. Police have registered a case against the accused at police station Badin.
SHO Tando Ghulam Ali along with Inspector Ashiq Ali Lund and his staff raided the local liquor den and recovered 160 liters of local liquor. Owner of the den identified as Mumtaz Ali Mallah was arrested during the operation. A case has been registered against the accused.
SHO of the police station Pungrio along with Inspector Ghulam Qadir Sarki and his staff during the operation arrested a man identified as Khuda Bux Khoso. The 70 grams of opium was recovered from the den and police registered a case against the accused.
