QUETTA:Federal Government has allocated six posts of BS-21 under the scheme for grant of BPS-21 for the officers of professional and technical cadres of Balochistan. According to distribution made by the provincial government, three posts have given to Health Department while one post each to Education Department, Engineering / Agriculture Sector and one revolving post.
Presently no clear cut policy exists to fill the revolving post. Moreover, Teaching Cadre of Health Department has been transferred to Balochistan University of Medical Health Sciences; therefore, the fate of three (03) posts allocated to Teaching Cadre of Health Department has not yet been decided. In the meeting of Provincial Special Selection Committee, it had been decided that a committee comprising members from Law Department, Finance Department and S and GAD may be constituted to prepare a policy to utilize the revolving posts amongst Technical and Professional Officers i.e., Doctors, Engineers, Educationists, Economists, Management Accounts, Scientists, Archaeologist, Geologists, Meteorologists, Experts in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Forestry and Public Architects.
After preparation of the policy, the same would be placed before Provincial Special Selection Committee for its consideration / recommendation and further submission before the Chief Minister Balochistan for approval.
