Quetta:Government of Balochistan has bifurcated its “Communication, Works, Physical Planning and Housing Department” into two separate Administrative Departments and constituted “Roads Department” and “Building, Physical Planning and Housing Department”.
A notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department says, “In exercise of powers conferred by rule 3 (2) of the Balochistan Government Rules of Business 2012, the Chief Minister Balochistan is pleased to bifurcate the existing “Communication, Works, Physical Planning and Housing Department” into two separate Administrative Departments and constitute the following Administrative Departments with nomenclature of the Departments after bifurcation’ “(1) Roads Department (2) Building, Physical Planning and Housing Department”.
It further says, “Consequent upon the bifurcation of the Communication, Works, Physical Planning and Housing Department, necessary amendments in the Balochistan Government Rules of Business, 2012 shall be made”.
