QUETTA: Spokesperson for Chief Minister Balochistan, Babar Yousafzai, has demanded to conduct election simultaneously across the country.

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club with Coordinators to Chief Minister Balochistan, Musa Jan Achakzai and Shahina, he said security situation was not conducive for conducting election only in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. He said that Imran Khan was ousted from power through constitutional process, but he started levelling allegations against Pak-Army in order to conceal his government’s failure.

He said that during his tenure as Prime Minister, Imran Khan had done nothing for the welfare and development of Balochistan. Coffins of deceased belonging to Hazara community, who had been killed Mach’s coal mine incident, were lying on road in Quetta and relatives of the deceased wanted to meet the then Prime Minister to apprise him of their demands, but Imran Khan had not bothered to meet the relatives of deceased and instead declared the protest sit-in of Hazara community as a kind of black mailing.

He said that Chairman, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was deliberately trying to create chaos and anarchy in the country, adding that criticizing Pak-Army and other institutions by former Prime Minister Imran Khan was nothing but to gain popularity. He said journalists were put behind the bar during the reign of PTI for the sole purpose of stifling the dissenting voices, adding that treatment meted out to one journalist of Islamabad Muhsin Baig was known to all and sundry.
