Balochistan employees to get 25% increase in salaries, says minister

QUETTA: Minister for Finance, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, has said that the government was going to present a budget for the fiscal year 2021-22 on Friday (tomorrow).

Addressing a press conference at Sikandar Jamali Auditorium, Balochistan Civil Secretariat here on Thursday with leaders of Balochistan Employees and Workers Grand Alliance, he said that the government endeavoured to provide relief to the people in the budget.

He added that for the time being the provincial government was going to announce a 25 percent increase in the salaries of the government employees which would formally be announced in the budget speech.

On the occasion, Abdul Malik Kakar, Convener, BEWGA, Dad Muhammad Baloch, President, All Pakistan Clerks Association, Balochistan, Habib-ur-Rehman Mardanzai, President, Government Teachers Association, Balochistan, Abdul Khaliq Baloch, President, Balochistan Civil Secretariat Staff Association, Muhammad Amin Badini, Vice President, Balochistan Civil Secretariat Officers Welfare Association, Mama Salam, Salam Zehri, Abdul Hameed and others were also present.
