QUETTA: Balochistan government on Monday decided reopening of educational institutions of winter zone phase-wise.
A notification issued by colleges, higher and technical education department issued here today says, with prior approval from the competent authority, the Government of Balochistan, colleges, higher and technical education department has decided reopening of educational institutions of winter zone phase-wise in the following manners:
BS running colleges (boys and girls) and polytechnic institutions, GCT and GPI (girls) will re-open from 15th February 2021. Inter colleges (boys and girls) will re-open for academic activities from 22nd February.
Balochistan residential colleges and cadet colleges will re-open for academic activities of class 9th to 12th from 22nd February. Re-opening of Balochistan residential colleges and cadet colleges for classes 7th and 8th will re-open from 1st March.
The notification further said that the principals of the education institutions will ensure strict observance of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) against COVID-19.
