Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that no compromises will be made in improving governance and educational quality in the province.

He made these comments while meeting with Dr Mukhtiar Ahmed, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission. Bugti highlighted that comprehensive reforms are being introduced to address issues at public sector universities in the province, particularly financial challenges.

The CM noted that while university buildings were being constructed, funds were insufficient to pay staff salaries. Bugti also called for action against anti-state indoctrination in public sector universities, revealing that an organized group was involved in spreading anti-state messages.

To counter this narrative, the Balochistan government plans to convene a national conference inviting Chief Ministers and Vice Chancellors from across the country.

Meanwhile, a police constable, Obaidullah Rud, was injured by unidentified assailants in the T and T Colony area of Dera Murad Jamali in Balochistan. The constable was attacked with batons and sticks. After receiving initial treatment at a local hospital, he was referred to Larkhana for further medical care.
