Balochistan Civil Secretariat Officers Welfare Association on Wednesday took out a rally and held a protest demonstration within the premises of the secretariat in support of their demands.

Addressing the protest demonstration, association leaders Zaheer Baloch and Abdul Khaliq Zehri said that provincial cabinet had approved share distribution between Balochistan Secretariat Services-BSS and Balochistan Civil Services-BCS cadres on August 12, 2021, but it was still not known as to why decision of the provincial cabinet had still not been implemented.

They said non-cadre officers were being posted against the cadre posts reserved for BSS officers, adding that retired officers were being appointed in Balochistan Civil Secretariat on contract basis, closing thereby the way for the appointment of fresh candidate against the said vacant posts.
