QUETTA:Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Chief Minister Balochistan, has said Balochistan would be the arena of investment, progress and development rather than insurgency.
These views were expressed by him while talking to Dennis Mark Bristow, President and CEO of Barrich Gold Corporation who called on him at Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Sunday after signing with him the Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project agreement.
Delay in deciding Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project caused loss not only to the investors but also to the coming generation of the province, said Bizenjo, adding that Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project would connect Balochistan with the entire world.
He said decisions were to be made by the leaders, adding that resources of the province had been safeguarded by inking Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project with Barrich Gold Corporation. Speaking on the occasion, Dennis Mark Bristow, President and CEO, Barrich Gold Corporation said that interests of the people of Balochistan as well as employment of youth of the province had been protected in the new agreement.
