Karachi, August 08, 2019 (PPI-OT): The Government of Sindh Home Department notified that Eid-ul-Azha is expected on 12-08-2019 and imposed of ban under Section 144 Cr. PC on setting up the Cattle Markets except at the locations as listed below as per previous years.
1. Super Highway
2. Malir 15, Asoo Goth
3. Cattle Mandi Landhi
4. Rice Godown, Landhi near Super Market
5. Hamdard University near Manghopir
6. Moach Goth, Baldia Town
7. Cattle Mandi permitted by Station Commander Karachi in the limits of Cantonment Board
8. Cattle Mandi permitted by the President Karachi Cantonment Board in the limits of Karachi Cantonment Board.
And whereas, the Government of Sindh is satisfied that in order to avoid traffic congestion, unhygienic conditions security issues, it is necessary to take expedient measures. Now therefore, the Government of Sindh in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 144 (6) Cr. PC, do hereby impose ban on establishing of Cattle Markets within the local limits /jurisdiction of the Karachi Division except at the above mentioned locations with immediate effect and till 15th August, 2019.
In pursuance of Section 195 (i) (a) Cr. PC, the SHOs of concerned Police Stations are hereby authorized to register the complaints under Section 188 PPC in writing for the violation of Section 144 Cr. PC, against the violators of this Notification.
