Baseless allegations levelled against Mir Asadullah: Taj

QUETTA:Engineer Taj Muhammad Zafar, leader of Balochistan National Party (Awami) has strongly condemned baseless allegations levelled against Mir Asadullah Baloch, General Secretary, Balochistan National Party (Awami) and Minister for Social Welfare by some leaders of Balochistan National Party (Mengal) District Panjgur.

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club with Dr. Nashnas Lehri, Central Information Secretary, BNP (Awami) and others here on Thursday, he said that Mir Asadullah Baloch had always attached priority to national interests and waged struggle for the rights of the people of Balochistan.

He added that Mir Asadullah Baloch got leased out 200 acres state land situated at Khudabadan Municipal Committee Chitkan District Panjgur of Balochistan province to Energy Department during the year 2020 for establishment of LPG Plant and Solar Plants.

He said that 200 acres land was leased out to Health Department for establishment of healthcare facilities. He said that Mir Asadullah Baloch got leased out 200 acres of state land to Education Department for establishment of educational facilities, adding that 100 acres of state land was leased out to Local Government Department for setting up Public Park.

He said that Mir Asadullah Baloch leased out state land for executing welfare oriented projects for the people of Panjgur, but opponents were levelling allegations as if Mir Asad Baloch had leased out state land to his family members or relatives. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Nashnas Lehri, Central Information Secretary, BNP (Awami) said that concocted story was presented before the media in a press conference held the previous day by some leaders of BNP (Mengal) District Panjgur merely to defame Mir Asadullah Baloch.

He said that it did not suit political leaders and workers to level baseless allegations against the leader of another political party. He added that Mir Asadullah Balochistan had always struggled for the rights of the people of Balochistan.
