Srinagar, September 08, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader, Bilal Ghani Lone, has paid rich tributes to the veteran Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani and Executive Director of Kashmir Media Service, Shaikh Tajammul-ul-Islam.
Bilal Ghani Lone in a condolence meeting in Srinagar said the people of Kashmir will remember the great services and sacrifices of Syed Ali Gilani for the freedom movement. He said, the veteran leader always remained steadfast towards the Kashmir cause, adding that his services for the movement are laudable and will always be remembered in the freedom struggle of Kashmir. He said that Syed Ali Gilani and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone played their great role and rendered unparalleled sacrifices in the Kashmir freedom struggle.
Bilal Lone expressed deep grief at the demise of the veteran leader and regretted that he could not participate in his funeral prayers or personally visit the bereaved family to express condolences due to restrictions. He strongly condemned the occupation authorities for imposing curfew and not allowing the family members and people to take part in the funeral prayers of the veteran leader.
Bilal Lone also paid homage to Executive Director of KMS, Shaikh Tajammul-ul-Islam, and said that he rendered his services for the noble cause while working on political, diplomatic and journalistic fronts. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls of Syed Ali Gilani and Shaikh Tajammul-ul-Islam in eternal peace and give forbearance to their families.
