Karachi, January 22, 2018 (PPI-OT):DHA City Karachi (DCK) is an upcoming sustainable and enlightened residential project on super highway that attaches utmost importance to provision of qualitative healthcare and medical facilities to local population as a welfare measure. A blood donation drive was launched in DHA City by DCK Medical Setup for AMTF (Thalasaemic Children). Doctors and paramedical staff of DHA Medical Centre provided full technical and medical support for successful conduct of drive.
Medically safe and hygienic procedure were ensured for blood transfusion. A large number of people voluntarily donated blood. Out of 101 volunteers who reported at the camp, blood of 61 donors was taken. The spirit of voluntaries for a noble cause was overwhelming and reassuring. Administrator DHA Brig Shahid Hasan Ali appreciated both the zeal and gesture of voluntary donors as well as commendable initiative of Dr Zain Arain of DCK and Dr Sheema CMO DHA Medical Centre.
