Body of psychiatric patient found hanging in a suburban orchard of Kot Ghulam Muhammad, investigation initiated

The body of 46-year-old Lalji Kolhi has been found in a mango orchard in Goth Ali Muhammad Arain of Kot Ghulam Muhammad, who has been identified as a psychiatric patient with a history of self-harm, authorities have initiated an investigation after the body was found.

Police officials reached the scene on Saturday morning upon a report that the body of a person named Lalji Kolhi was found in a mango orchard in Goth Ali Muhammad Arain near Kot Ghulam Muhammad, and transferred the body to Civil Hospital Kot Ghulam Muhammad.

It is reported that the deceased was previously undergoing psychiatric treatment and had previously attempted to end his life.

A formal police inquiry is now underway to determine the full circumstances of the death.
