THATTA: The body of a person was recovered from the KDA Canal within the precincts of Jungshahi police station near Gujo town, on Wednesday.

According to a report, the body was seen floating in the KDA Canal by local people this morning. They informed the police about it. The police rushed to the scene, took the body out of the canal and brought it to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities. The victim was identified as Ahmed Ali, a resident of Mahmoodabad, Karachi. Further investigation was underway.
