Professor Dr. Saba Suhail, Principal of Dow Medical College, has stated that Pakistan has the highest rate of breast cancer in Asia. She noted that cases of breast cancer are also being reported in women over the age of 30, but most diagnoses occur at stages three and four due to a lack of screening. According to a spokesperson for Dow Medical College, she emphasized that timely mammographic screening could significantly reduce breast cancer mortality.

The event was organized in collaboration with Dow University of Health Sciences, the Breast Surgery Unit at Civil Hospital, Surgical Unit 3, and the Department of Medical Oncology.
