Businessmen laud PM’s initiative of making entrepreneurs part of his foreign trips

ISLAMABAD: The business community has commended Prime Minister Imran Khan’s initiative of making entrepreneurs part of his foreign trips in order to bolster trade and exports with rest of world especially the regional countries.

According to Radio Pakistan report, members of the business delegation accompanying the Prime Minister in his Dushanbe visit expressed the confidence that this will help promote trade and economic linkages with the Central Asian State. They said tapping the Central Asian market is an important step which will open new vistas of opportunities for Pakistani businessmen.

Chairman of Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association Tauqir-ul-Haq who is also part of the delegation said there is a great potential for our Pharma industry in Tajikistan. He said their visit will provide an opportunity to enter into joint ventures with Tajikistan and exploit opportunities for exports of medicines to the country.

Senior Vice President of Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abdullah Achakzai said promoting exports to the Central Asian States will benefit our economy and help earn valuable foreign exchange. Vice President of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Junaid Altaf was also appreciative of Prime Minister’s vision of promoting regional trade. The business delegation also recognized the incentives given to them by the present government.
