Karachi, April 26, 2018 (PPI-OT): Chief Secretary Sindh Rizwan Memon has asked the all Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners to provide proper space for establishment of Water Treating Laboratories in all districts under the supervision of PHED (Public Health Engineering Department).
While presiding a high level meeting in Sindh Secretariat on Thursday, the Chief Secretary, with the specific reference of implementing the orders of water commission advised all Provincial Secretaries and field Officers to ensure provision of clean drinking water, throughout the Sindh province before inception of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, as well he also directed the Sindh Finance Department to release funds for water betterment task, he also okayed the survey plan of the R.O. Plants.
Rizwan Memon also emphasized upon declaration of Landfill sites in each district for dumping the solid waste aimed at improvising the healthy environment. Chairman P and D Sindh Muhammad Waseem, Chairman Sindh Task Force Jamal Mustafa Syed, Secretary L.G. Ramzan Awan and other also spoke. Secretary PHE made a presentation on this occasion.
