Islamabad, July 31, 2020 (PPI-OT): The Cabinet Committee on Energy (CCoE) in its meeting in Islamabad has reviewed the implementation status of the cabinet decisions on the energy sector. The meeting was chaired by Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar.
The Committee discussed the decisions regarding circular debt reporting format, competitive marketplace for electricity-development plan, capacity charges of government owned power plants, fuel cost optimization of power plants, and governance reforms in power sector.
