KALAT: Dawood Khan Khilji, Commissioner, Kalat Division, on Monday urged transporters and owners of private vehicles to avoid travelling on Quetta-Karachi highway.

In a statement, he said that floods triggered by the recent rains had caused damaged to Bela Cross bridge in district Lasbela and Lundapull bridge in Hub Chowky. The commissioner said that the authorities were busy in repairing the damaged bridges. He said that the opening of Quetta-Karachi Highway would be ensured for traffic soon after getting the damaged bridges repaired. Khilji urged the transporters to avoid travelling on Quetta-Karachi highway.
