Islamabad, September 24, 2020 (PPI-OT): Capital Development Authority (CDA) has successfully conducted balloting of plots of Park Enclave-III. Through balloting held on Thursday, CDA allotted 1047 plots of different categories. The balloting was conducted by experts deputed by NADRA through software specifically designed for the purpose in the presence of applicants. Special Assistant to Prime Minister Ali Nawaz Awan was also present on the occasion to oversee balloting proceedings.
With this successful balloting, Capital Development Authority has secured another amount of 13 billion rupees. Yesterday through historic auction, Capital Development Authority received biddings worth record twenty seven billion rupees. In July this year, Capital Development Authority auctioned plots worth 17 billion rupees. During last three months, Capital Development Authority has secured an amount of fifty seven billion rupees.
CDA received overwhelming response to Park Enclave-III project. For a total of 1047 plots, 1744 applications were received by the deadline. Through balloting CDA allotted plots of different categories including 271 plots of size 25×50, 546 plots of size 35×70, 103 plots of size 40×80 and 64 plots of size 50×90. CDA is likely to generate around 14 billion just through this project.
While speaking on the occasion SAPM Ali Nawaz Awan said that investor friendly policies of the Federal Government and CDA have regained the confidence of general public. Initiatives taken to boost construction industry in the country particularly in the Federal Capital are now bearing fruits which can be gauged by the fact in merely three months, investors have invested 57 billions in different Commercial plots auctioned through open auctions organized by the CDA.
CDA has already placed fencing around the proposed site, and development planning is underway. It is expected that within this calendar year development activity will be started. Now commercial auction of Park Enclave-III will follow during the developmental phase. The management has directed that apart from physical infrastructure simultaneously work on electrification and gas supply must be started so that complete solution is provided to proposed residents. Necessary funds are being allocated and separate account for development will be maintained.
