Islamabad police have apprehended 58 individuals involved in various illicit activities, confiscating a substantial quantity of narcotics and firearms. Teams from Karachi Company, Sabzi Mandi, Shams Colony, Kirpa, and Phulgran police stations detained nine suspects and seized 2,243 grams of heroin, 1,000 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 890 grams of hashish, 20 bottles of wine, two pistols with ammunition, and a dagger. Cases have been filed against the arrested individuals, and investigations are underway.

In a separate operation targeting fugitives and wanted individuals, law enforcement apprehended 49 suspects.

Under the guidance of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad police force is continuing its crackdown on unlawful activities to maintain order within the capital city. The department emphasized its commitment to safeguarding residents and their belongings.

Authorities encouraged the public to report any suspicious behavior to their local police station or through the Pucar-15 emergency hotline, stressing the importance of community collaboration in combating criminal behavior.
