ISLAMABAD:Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani has reiterated the Pakistan's commitment to remain steadfast to fight against terrorism in all its forms and manifestation.

Addressing the Asia Society in New York on the sidelines of the 78th United Nations General Assembly Session, he rejected to politicize the issue of terrorism by linking it to certain country, community, regions or religions and called for acting together to uproot the menace of terrorism.

Regarding the threats of terrorism being faced by Pakistan, the Foreign Minister said we remain closely engaged with Afghan interim administration regarding terrorist threats from Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and ISK and their ability to use Afghan soil for launching attacks against Pakistan.

About Indian state sponsored terrorism in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Jalil Abbas Jilani said India's illegal actions in IIOJK and human rights violations at the hands of Indian forces further deteriorated relationship with Pakistan.

He further said that religious extremism in India especially against Muslims have further complicated the situation.
