Centers will be set up to promote cricket discipline: CM Jam

QUETTA: Chief Minister Baluchistan, Jam Kamal Khan has said that high performance centers would be set up in Baluchistan for promotion of cricket discipline in the province. These views were expressed by him while talking to a delegation of Quetta Gladiators who called on him at Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Friday under the leadership of Nadeem Umer, owner of Quetta Gladiator. Khan said that steps were being taken to promote cricket in the province. He said that 33 sports complexes were being constructed in different areas of the province, adding that 4 new sports complexes were being constructed in Quetta which would help promote sports in the province.

Later, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Sports and Youth Affairs Department and Quetta Gladiator. On the occasion, Provincial Ministers Mir Arif Jan Muhammad Hasni, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa, Mir Ziaullah Langove, Parliamentary Secretaries Mubeen Khan Khilji, Majabeen Sheran, MPAS Asghar Khan Achakzai, Qadir Nayal, Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Imran Gichki, Director General, Balochistan Sports Board, Dura Baloch and others were also present.
