Dr Aijaz Fatima Centre for Reproductive Health and IVF was officially launched at Dr Ziauddin University Hospital Sukkur today, marking a significant milestone in reproductive health and fertility treatments.
This state-of-the-art center aims to provide top-notch medical care and support to individuals and couples struggling with fertility issues. The launch ceremony was attended by prominent healthcare professionals, dignitaries, and media representatives.
Dr Asim Hussain, Chairman of Dr Ziauddin University Hospital, emphasized the center’s goal of bringing hope and happiness to families through advanced reproductive solutions, combining expertise, innovation, and empathy. The center’s establishment is expected to benefit not only upper Sindh but also adjacent areas of Balochistan and South Punjab.
A hands-on workshop was also conducted, where 200 medical professionals from Sukkur, Larkana, Ghotki, Shikarpur, and Gambat gathered to learn about the latest advancements in assisted reproductive technologies (ART). Renowned experts, including Dr Gul Rana, Dr Kamil Ziad, Dr Aisha Aman, Dr Arbas Waleed, Saif Rehman, and Dr Samina, delivered insightful lectures and practical sessions, showcasing innovative techniques such as IVF, ICSI, embryo freezing, and more.
